However, this means higher requirements in terms of documentation, quality and crypto security. As a first step, the next generation of the ERC20 Climacoins has now been launched.

The climate vision by crypto
Clima4Future GmbH has been working on the "Climate by crypto" vision since 2020. By using the cryptocurrency Climacoin, innovative and sustainable companies and projects are promoted and supported. The use of the cryptocurrency Climacoin for the benefit of climate protection was unique at the time. The second ERC20 token will be available in 2024.
In the meantime, the European Parliament and the European Council said in the regulation of May 31, 2023:
